After returning from the West Indies, I painted this mermaid. There are two ways of viewing this scene. One where she is sitting on a rock near the shore with a storm brewing in the distance and the other is that she is under water sitting on a rock.
"As an artist, I strive to continually grow and experiment with different techniques and mediums. I have spent most of my adult careers an Creative Director and graphic designer before becoming a full time professional photographer and fine artist. As of 2015, I had decided to work on my painting full time and now sell internationally with representation in Paris, London and Japan. Composition, creative problem solving and working with deadlines became ingrained after three decades as a designer. I also hold a BS degree in Fine & Applied arts from San Diego State University.
