In the last hours of the day, the light in a warm intense light that reflects on everything. I wanted to capture how that glow affects the landscape and more colors are evident. There is a base of metallic gold paint with peaks out under the impressionistic brush strokes and palette knife.
"As an artist, I strive to continually grow and experiment with different techniques and mediums. I have spent most of my adult careers an Creative Director and graphic designer before becoming a full time professional photographer and fine artist. As of 2015, I had decided to work on my painting full time and now sell internationally with representation in Paris, London and Japan. Composition, creative problem solving and working with deadlines became ingrained after three decades as a designer. I also hold a BS degree in Fine & Applied arts from San Diego State University.
