Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

"Tide Rising" is drying as we speak. It is 40x30" and because palette knife expressions require layers of thick paint, it takes a lot longer to dry. While painting it, I have to step back a lot to analyze and see what areas needed to be layered with complimentary hues and paint pastels. I usually use a flat palette so I can load up the various mixed pastels onto the knives and lightly wipe each layer over the previous dried layers. This way the colors don't get muddy.

As of 2015, I had decided to work on my painting full time and now sell internationally with representation in Paris, London and Japan. Composition, creative problem solving and working with deadlines became ingrained after three decades as a designer. I also hold a BS degree in Fine & Applied arts from San Diego State University. Having this experience has affected how my photographic images are framed in the camera, my understanding of light on objects from directing studio photographers...
